About the Role
This position involves providing Occupational Therapy services to children in a school setting, including conducting evaluations, assessments, and tracking progress. The therapist will deliver services as outlined in individual education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support each child's goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for children in a school setting.
- Track and document student progress.
- Deliver Occupational Therapy services as outlined in individual education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals.
- Complete documentation and progress notes to ensure proper record-keeping.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program.
- Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Valid, unencumbered state occupational therapy license.
