Role Overview: This position involves serving students aged 3-21 with physical, social-emotional, and developmental challenges in a school-based setting. The therapist implements treatment plans aligned with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), focusing on functional and measurable outcomes. Key Responsibilities Develops and executes treatment plans to improve student outcomes, documenting progress through assessments.Collaborates with educators, therapists, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.Prepares reports and goals for annual reviews, maintaining compliance with state guidelines.Participates in school meetings such as IEPs, evaluations, and reviews.Conducts screenings and evaluations to determine therapy needs related to motor skills, ADLs, adaptive equipment, executive function, and self-regulation. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program.Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.Valid, unencumbered state occupational therapy license and current CPR certification.Preferred pediatric clinical experience.Strong communication, organizational, and professional skills to manage a high workload effectively.Demonstrates compassion, empathy, and respect for students and staff.
