About the role
Join a passionate rehab team at Massillon Health & Rehab (formerly Laurels of Massillon), a supportive, collaborative skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing environment
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with facility policies and regulations
Requirements
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Current CPR certification
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational therapy principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for making a positive impact on patient lives
Skills
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
