About the role

Occupational Therapist (OT) responsible for evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans to improve functional independence in various clinical settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and medical-surgical environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and create tailored therapeutic interventions.
• Support daily living activities, promote safety, and enhance patient participation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment use.
• Ensure accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and apply strong communication and clinical reasoning skills.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Valid OT license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Rehabilitation or acute care experience preferred.
