Occupational Therapist (OT) - Mobile Outpatient

About the role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an in-home setting for older adults.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients in their homes or independent living facilities
  • Develop personalized therapy plans
  • Promote functional skills to enhance independence
  • Supervise support personnel
  • Adhere to schedules
  • Document patient progress
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members
  • Ensure safety and proper equipment use
  • Assess, adapt, and implement therapeutic techniques across areas such as mobility, sensory awareness, daily living activities, and fall risk management
  • Instruct patients in using adaptive devices
  • Modify treatment plans as needed

Requirements

  • Master's degree in an accredited occupational therapy program
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
  • A valid license
  • Reliable transportation
