Occupational Therapist (OT) - Home Health (Days) (PRN)

About the Role

Performs evaluation and treatment of impairment in functional status in daily living skills following a disability, disease, or illness. Provides services to adults (eighteen to seventy-five years old) and geriatrics (seventy-five years and older).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat functional impairments in daily living skills.
• Provide occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric populations.
• May supervise staff occupational therapy assistants and/or therapy aides if assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Licensure by the Georgia State Board of Examiners of Occupational Therapy.
• One year of related experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of occupational therapy treatment procedures.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• CPR certification as a Healthcare Provider.

Skills

• Working knowledge of standard practices and procedures in occupational therapy.
• Limited supervision required; may serve in a supervisory capacity if assigned.
