Occupational Therapist (OT) - Home Health

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with debilitating conditions to improve daily living skills and motor functions.
• Administer skilled care according to physicians' orders and established care plans.
• Develop treatment plans to enhance or compensate for loss of function.
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members on therapy techniques and progress.
• Provide professional, intermittent skilled care in home settings, focusing on improving patients' functional independence and teaching family members as part of the care team.
• Collaborate with supervisors and adhere to care protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an approved Occupational Therapy program.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the current practice state.
• Preferably with at least one year of experience; Medicare home health experience is a plus.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow physicians' treatment plans.
