Occupational Therapist / OT - Full-Time

About the role

This role is a full-time opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist who wants to make a meaningful impact through personalized, real-world care. The position focuses on helping patients rebuild independence in activities that matter most, such as daily routines, cognition, safety, and participation in everyday life.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
• Make discharge evaluations, provide recommendations for home and community safety, and refer and educate
• Communicate patient's needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members
• Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care, and enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice
• CPR Certification
• One year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred
• Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
• Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and the ability to walk/stand for extended periods
