About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- Current New York State OT License
- Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric setting preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized OT treatment plans
- Select activities to promote residents' independence in daily tasks
- Observe, assess, and document residents’ therapy progress with detailed reports
- Maintain confidentiality and foster a cooperative healthcare team environment
