Occupational Therapist (OT)

Position Overview

Responsible for coordinating and delivering occupational therapy services focused on individual patient needs, promoting health, and achieving treatment goals within various settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and implements personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and ongoing assessments.
• Uses age-appropriate activities to support health and recovery, adapting strategies as needed.
• Provides direct therapy services, ensuring alignment with patients' physical, emotional, and intellectual capabilities.
• Documents evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and other reports accurately.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members regarding progress and needs.
• Establishes rapport and collaborates with team members to optimize patient care.
• Participates in professional development, educational programs, and departmental program development.

Qualifications

• Active occupational therapy license in the practice state; 1-3 years clinical experience preferred.
