Occupational Therapist (OT)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) for a travel role focused on delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help patients develop, recover, and improve independence in daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Create personalized therapy plans based on assessments and patient goals
• Provide individualized occupational therapy treatments using adaptive techniques and equipment
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy strategies to enhance independence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for holistic care
• Track patient progress, modify treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
• Participate in quality assurance and professional development activities
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Assist in discharge planning for smooth patient transitions

Requirements

• Valid OT license per state regulations
• Current BLS certification
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving equipment
• Proficiency in English, PC skills, and comprehension of instructions
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in team settings
