Role Overview

Sought is an Occupational Therapist to assess, develop recovery plans, and deliver therapy to patients in a facility setting. Focus on restoring, reinforcing, and enhancing patients' physical abilities and independence, collaborating with peers and referring to specialists as needed. Goal is to promote patient-centered care, teaching skills to patients and caregivers to foster independence and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and create personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver occupational therapy services in various settings.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and refer patients appropriately.
• Educate patients and caregivers on skills to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program.
• Initial registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid, unencumbered state license to practice occupational therapy.
