Occupational Therapist (OT)
Position Responsibilities
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans
Provide treatment focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, cognition, coordination, balance, and safety awareness
Recommend adaptive equipment and therapeutic strategies to support resident independence
Collaborate with nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, physicians, and family members to coordinate care
Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
Qualifications
Active Occupational Therapist license required
Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
