About the role
Ultimate Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their skilled nursing rehab team. The ideal candidate will enjoy helping residents regain independence, improve daily function, and achieve meaningful progress through personalized therapy programs.
Responsibilities
- Complete occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide treatment focused on daily living skills, upper extremity function, cognition, and safety awareness
- Introduce adaptive techniques and equipment to improve independence and quality of life
- Collaborate with rehab staff, nursing, physicians, and families to support resident goals
- Track progress, adjust treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist license required
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
