Seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing facility. The role focuses on applying evidence-based practices aligned with American Occupational Therapy Association standards to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating residents
- Developing individualized treatment plans
- Selecting activities to promote independence
- Observing and documenting progress
- Maintaining confidentiality
- Collaborating with the healthcare team
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited OT program
- Current New York State OT license
- Experience in geriatric or skilled nursing settings preferred but not required for new graduates
