Occupational Therapist / OT

Weekend shift differential: $3 plus base pay. Sign-on bonus available: $2000 for full-time (30+ hrs) or $1000 for part-time (24-29 hrs).

Responsibilities

• Communicate resident progress or problems to supervisor and other team members.
• Evaluate, develop appropriate skilled plan of care, and communicate with physicians as a registered therapist; provide treatments following the plan of care developed as a registered therapist or assistant.
• Document daily resident participation with skilled treatment sessions in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
• Instruct resident's family or nursing staff on current functional level as indicated.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Provide support to the center interdisciplinary departments as directed by the Director of Rehab to provide the highest level of care in the industry.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current and in good standing discipline-specific state license.
• One (1) year experience in Skilled Nursing Facility and/or Long-Term Care preferred.
