Occupational Therapist (OT)

About the role

Regency Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients requiring extended healing and recovery. Occupational Therapists (OTs) are integral in delivering compassionate, high-quality care throughout the treatment process.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education, and adaptive equipment.
• Serve as a supervisor for certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs) and OT and COTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens and monitor patients' responses to treatment.
• Attend continuing education seminars and in-services.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Experience in critical illness recovery settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teaching abilities.
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment and techniques.

Pay

$35 - $50 per hour, depending on years of experience.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday - Friday.
