Occupational Therapist OT

About the role

NHC HomeCare Aiken is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide clinical ownership, expert guidance, and goal-oriented care to patients with physical disabilities and injuries in the home setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and design life-changing treatment plans for patients with physical disabilities and injuries.
• Supervise and mentor Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) to ensure peak patient progress.
• Establish and adapt long-term recovery goals in direct partnership with physicians.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AOTA-accredited program.
• Active OT registration in the state of practice.
• Professionalism: State and National Association memberships (preferred).

Qualifications

• A passion for helping patients maximize their independence at home.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
