About the role
Provide compassionate and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals with a wide range of physical, developmental, and cognitive disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' functional abilities and recommend appropriate therapies.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and activities to improve clients' motor skills, strength, and coordination.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are in place.
- Document progress notes and maintain client records according to HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of [State].
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
