Occupational Therapist (OT)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, assess, and modify treatment goals for patients.
• Oversee and evaluate therapy sessions conducted by OTAs, rehab aides, and students.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely using therapy software.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team activities, ensuring excellent patient service and communication.
• Aid with emergency procedures and support patient evacuation when needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT or MSOT).
• Current licensure and registration in the applicable state; NBCOT certification preferred, renewal optional.
• CPR certification required or obtained during orientation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication.
• Strong decision-making, body mechanics, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to perform various physical activities and communicate effectively in English.
