About the Role
Responsible for coordinating and delivering occupational therapy services, focusing on patient conditions and health diagnoses. Develops and implements individualized treatment plans, evaluates patients through various data sources, and uses therapeutic activities to promote health and achieve treatment goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform age-specific assessments from infants to geriatrics based on guidelines and competencies.
- Plan, modify, and evaluate therapy interventions in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide direct therapy services across functional settings, ensuring treatment aligns with patients' physical, emotional, and intellectual capabilities.
- Prepare documentation including evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and reports.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and team members about patient progress and needs.
- Participate in professional development, educational programs, and departmental program development.
Requirements
- Active occupational therapy license in the state of practice.
- Excellent communication and visual acuity to perform job functions.
- Preferred 1-3 years of clinical patient care experience.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, maintain confidentiality, and uphold safety standards.
