About the Role
Responsible for coordinating and delivering occupational therapy services, developing individualized treatment plans for patients across all age groups, and evaluating patient progress.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tailored therapy programs based on patient assessments.
- Use functional activities to promote health and achieve treatment goals.
- Provide direct therapy in various settings, coordinating with medical and nursing teams.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Participate in professional development, program development, and supervise clinical interns.
Requirements
- Active occupational therapy license in the practice state.
- Strong knowledge of age-specific needs from infants to geriatrics.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
- Commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and safety regulations.
