Occupational Therapist (OT)

About the Role

Responsible for coordinating and delivering occupational therapy services, developing individualized treatment plans for patients across all age groups, and evaluating patient progress.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement tailored therapy programs based on patient assessments.
  • Use functional activities to promote health and achieve treatment goals.
  • Provide direct therapy in various settings, coordinating with medical and nursing teams.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Participate in professional development, program development, and supervise clinical interns.

Requirements

  • Active occupational therapy license in the practice state.
  • Strong knowledge of age-specific needs from infants to geriatrics.
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
  • Commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and safety regulations.
