Occupational Therapist / OT

Flagstar Rehab is seeking Occupational Therapists (OT) for state-of-the-art Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout NYC and surrounding areas. OTs work with a diverse, multidisciplinary team to perform evaluations, treatments, and patient/family education to improve patients' physicality and cognition and positively impact their ability to function in daily life.

Flagstar Rehab offers the opportunity for direct employment with the agency or independent contractor status. Assistance with setting up a corporation is available free of charge.

Pay

Hourly pay rate:

• W2: $44–$48
• 1099: $55–$61

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to residents, including assessment, treatment, program development and implementation, and related professional in-services.
• Conduct individual, supervised, and group treatment as assigned and outlined in the treatment plan.
• Monitor residents’ response to intervention and consult with the Occupational Therapist if modification is indicated.
• Adhere to department and resident schedules, modifying as appropriate for the treatment regimen.
• Maintain acceptable resident care ratios as determined by the Occupational Therapist.

Requirements

• Current NYS OT License and Registration.
• EMR competence.
• Meets all state and federal requirements for US employment in a nursing facility.
• Malpractice/liability insurance (if applicable).
