About the Role

Now staffing Occupational Therapists for the Rehab Department in state-of-the-art Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout NYC and Surrounding Areas. Flagstar Rehab OTs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform evaluations, treatments, and patient/family education to improve the physicality and cognition of their patients and positively impact their ability to function in their daily lives.

Job Duties

• Provide efficient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for COTAs to follow.
• Supervise COTAs daily.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.
• Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.

Pay

$46–$48 Hourly (W-2), $57–$60 Hourly (1099)

Requirements

• Current NYS OT License and Registration
• EMR Competence
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance (if applicable)
