About the Role

The Occupational Therapist provides patient-centered rehabilitation services in a facility setting, assessing needs, developing recovery plans, and delivering therapy to restore physical abilities and promote independence. They collaborate with colleagues, refer patients as needed, and educate patients and caregivers on skills for ongoing wellness.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver occupational therapy to enhance physical function and independence
• Collaborate with healthcare team and refer patients for additional services
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and skills

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• Valid, unencumbered state license
