Daily Pay Available

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a resident’s condition and develop an appropriate occupational rehabilitation plan.
• Help residents improve their mobility.
• Assist residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Inform residents about what to anticipate during different stages of recovery and how to handle each situation.
• Maintain resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
• Supervise the activities of occupational therapy assistants when required.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

Requirements

• Must hold a current and active OT license or registration in the state of employment.
• Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.
• Completion of orientation as required by company policy.
• Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
• Familiarity with and compliance to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
• Provide satisfactory evidence of identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of hire.
