Responsibilities

• Evaluate individuals to improve motor function, reasoning abilities, and independence in daily living and work tasks
• Help patients adapt to permanent functional changes
• Guide patients in selecting adaptive equipment when needed
• Assess patients, set goals, and adjust treatment plans
• Plan discharges and communicate with patients and caregivers
• Collaborate with care teams to coordinate treatment
• Ensure safety and follow infection control standards

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required
• BLS/CPR Certification required
• New grads encouraged to apply – though prior experience in a rehab hospital setting is preferred
