Occupational Therapist (OT)

About the Role

Responsible for coordinating and delivering occupational therapy services, developing individualized treatment plans, and evaluating patient progress across all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Develops and modifies treatment strategies based on ongoing assessments.
• Provides direct therapy in various settings, tailored to patients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participates in program development, education, and mentorship, including clinical internships.
• Implements therapeutic activities to promote health.
• Maintains thorough documentation of evaluations, treatment goals, and progress notes.

Requirements

• Active occupational therapy license in the practice state.
• Strong knowledge of age-specific patient care from infants to geriatrics.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to meet visual and communication needs.
• Commitment to safety and confidentiality.
• Adherence to standards and regulations.
