Occupational Therapist (OT)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to work full-time in a Skilled Nursing Facility, committed to transforming lives through evidence-based rehabilitation practices and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop personalized OT treatment plans
• Select activities to promote residents' independence in daily tasks
• Observe, assess, and document residents’ progress through detailed reports
• Maintain confidentiality to foster resident trust
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
• Current New York State OT License
• Experience in geriatrics or skilled nursing preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
