About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to work full-time in a Skilled Nursing Facility, committed to transforming lives through evidence-based rehabilitation practices and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop personalized OT treatment plans
- Select activities to promote residents' independence in daily tasks
- Observe, assess, and document residents’ progress through detailed reports
- Maintain confidentiality to foster resident trust
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- Current New York State OT License
- Experience in geriatrics or skilled nursing preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
