What We're Looking For

We're searching for an Occupational Therapist who combines exceptional clinical skills with genuine compassion and a desire to make a lasting impact.

Qualifications

  • Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapist (OT) license
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Home health experience preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to build meaningful relationships with patients and families
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Able to work independently while effectively managing time and priorities

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate each patient's functional abilities, strengths, and challenges within their home environment to develop a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
  • Create individualized treatment plans that focus on meaningful goals, helping patients regain independence and improve their ability to perform everyday activities.
  • Deliver skilled occupational therapy services through therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and evidence-based interventions that promote safety, mobility, and functional success.
  • Educate patients and family members on activities of daily living, home safety, fall prevention, adaptive strategies, and techniques that support long-term independence.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications that allow patients to remain safe, comfortable, and confident in their own homes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, caregivers, and family members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Build trusting relationships by providing encouragement, compassion, and emotional support throughout each patient's rehabilitation journey.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Monitor patient progress, celebrate milestones, and adjust treatment plans as needed to help each individual achieve their highest level of function and independence.
