About the role
Responsible for coordinating and delivering occupational therapy services, developing individualized treatment programs, and evaluating patient needs across all age groups from infants to geriatrics. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, family members, and physicians to ensure comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Perform assessments, gather data, and modify treatment goals based on ongoing evaluations.
- Provide direct therapy using various strategies and functional settings.
- Plan therapy aligned with patients' physical, emotional, and intellectual capabilities in coordination with medical and nursing care.
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and communicate effectively with team members and families.
- Participate in professional development, program development, and supervise clinical interns.
Qualifications
- Active occupational therapy license in the practicing state.
- Preferred 1–3 years of clinical patient care experience.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and confidentiality skills.
- Ability to perform job functions with visual acuity and effective hearing.
