Cooperstown Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Cooperstown, New York is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join an experienced team of rehabilitation professionals committed to helping each patient regain independence and achieve their rehab goals in a state-of-the-art rehab gym.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
• Current New York State OT License
• Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric care setting is preferred, but new graduates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop an OT treatment plan that will meet their individual needs
• Choose activities that will help residents carry out their daily activities independently
• Observe, assess, and document residents' occupational therapy progress by preparing detailed reports
• Maintain resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among the healthcare team
