Occupational Therapist-Neuro-PRN

About the role

Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is looking for experienced Occupational Therapists who want to provide truly patient-centered care in the Durham, NC and surrounding areas, with PRN positions available. Our interdisciplinary teams create integrated treatment plans that are practiced in patients' homes and communities. Our therapists are creative in their approach and incorporate a variety of activities to ignite interest while addressing functional goals. This evidence-based approach results in durable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and treatment of impairments including upper extremity function, ADLs and IADLs
• Visual and perceptual skills assessment and treatment
• Cognitive needs assessment and intervention
• Adaptive equipment needs assessment and implementation
• Assistive technology needs assessment and implementation

Qualifications

• Completion of Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and state licensure is required
• Professional certification/Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred
• Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred
• Excellent planning, organization, writing and time management skills are required
• Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers is a must
