About the Role
An Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) will design personalized therapy plans, implement evidence-based techniques to improve motor, cognitive, and daily living skills, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care. The therapist will guide patients and families, monitor progress, and adapt treatments to support recovery and independence.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop tailored treatment strategies
- Apply therapeutic techniques to enhance motor, cognitive, and functional abilities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive care
- Educate patients and families on therapy methods for ongoing progress
- Monitor and modify treatment plans based on patient development
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OTR/L license and NBCOT certification
