About the role
Per Diem position located in Philadelphia, PA.
Responsibilities
- Organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs within the acute care hospital setting.
- Administers physician prescribed occupational therapy programs to restore and maximize function and prevent disability following disease or injury.
- Oversees all activities related to Occupational Therapy services.
- Serves as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team committed to providing the highest quality of patient care.
- Able to cover two or more of the department's units (acute care, outpatient, TCU, and/or ARU).
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (Master's degree preferred).
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of PA.
- BCLS certification required.
- Two years of inpatient occupational therapy experience required.
Schedule
Day shifts – 7.5 hr shifts; minimum two weekend shifts per month and two holidays per year; weekday and weekend availability preferred.
