About the role
Select Physical Therapy in Ridgecrest, CA is seeking a full-time Hand Therapist (Occupational Therapist).
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
- Apply custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic as required.
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients to enhance and expand client relations.
- Contribute to case management and collaborate with supervisors and aides.
- Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
Requirements
- Graduate of an AOTA-accredited school of occupational therapy.
- CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic.
- Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred.
