About the role
Occupational Therapists (OT) play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent treatment to patients during their most vulnerable moments.
Responsibilities
- Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment
- Serve as a supervisor for certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs) and OT and COTA students
- Conduct individual patient therapy regimens
- Maintain oversight of patients' responses to treatment
- Attend continuing education seminars and in-services
Requirements
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required
- Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited OT program
- Experience in acute care settings preferred

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
