Role Overview

The Occupational Therapist plans and implements treatment programs for patients across all ages, adhering to established practices. The position involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and providing coverage across various clinical settings, including inpatient, outpatient orthopedics, and neurological rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide therapy services across multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Doctorate (OTD) or Master’s (MOT) in Occupational Therapy; relevant experience accepted for candidates prior to 2007.
• Preferred: at least one year of clinical experience.
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, to be obtained within 90 days of employment.
