Occupational Therapist – Emergency Residence

Responsibilities

• Provide specialty occupational therapy and individualized therapeutic services for youth
• Facilitate groups, diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, life skills training, sensory integration, and other related services
• Maintain flexible hours to meet the needs of the youth in the programs

Core Requirements

• Effective verbal and written communication skills and capacity to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
• Knowledge of learning disabilities and needs of individual youth
• Capacity to implement creative individualized programming
• Effective time management and organizational skills

Requirements

• A master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Massachusetts licensure
• One to two years of previous related experience, preferably with children and adolescents
