Occupational Therapist (Acute)

About the Role

Develops and administers occupational therapy programs and treatments for inpatients and outpatients across all age groups defined by clinical competency, including neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. This position involves patient and family education, as well as courteous and patient communication with patients, families, medical personnel, and others to ensure high-quality customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy.
• Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for all age groups.
• Minimum of 2 years of licensed clinical experience.
• Internal candidates must have a minimum 3.25 PE (prior year), no disciplinary action on file, and no red rule violations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other government regulations.
