Responsibilities
- Efficient and profitable management of rehabilitation services in assigned site(s)
- Provide direct patient care
- Monitor and maintain the highest standard of clinical services across all sites, ensuring ethical and compliant delivery
- Operationally manage Powerback Rehabilitation personnel and consultants within facility or home care contracts
- Ensure accountability for evidence-based care and adherence to care delivery standards
- Review monthly department and individual therapist outcomes; support staff in improving outcomes
- Assist therapy staff in identifying and removing barriers to treatment and providing clinical education
- Develop and support all staff through rounding, coaching, and mentoring
- Conduct annual merit evaluations of therapy staff
- Hire therapy staff in conjunction with the Clinical Operations Area Director
- Manage daily staffing and utilization with input from treating therapists and recommendations from the Clinical Director
- Administer financial controls of revenue and expenses
- Prepare and submit facility reports on a weekly and monthly basis
- Assist in annual budget preparation with the Clinical Operations Area Director
- Meet annual budget goals as set by the Clinical Operations Area Director
- Assist with clinical orientation and ensure quality onboarding for new rehab staff
- Support the delivery of high-standard rehab services through resource utilization, clinical programs, and staff development
- Promote Powerback Rehabilitation products and services
- Assist in identifying and securing new contracts
- Develop and maintain relationships with facility management teams as a Powerback representative
- Oversee clinical management of the rehab department, including case management, quality improvement, care planning, and patient identification
- Complete and review monthly reports with facility administration
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license in the state of practice
- Three years of direct patient care experience and one year of management experience
- Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third-party billing
Pay
Salary range: USD $99,840.00 – USD $112,320.00 per year. Bonus: USD $10,000.00.
