Occupational Therapist (Call-In, Luger Scranton Rehab Center)

Brief Description

Occupational Therapists at Luger Scranton Rehab Center and Carbondale Rehab Center work under the supervision of Team or Clinic Managers. They evaluate, plan, and implement treatment for patients referred to the Occupational Therapy program according to Pennsylvania law.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients across various age groups (pediatric through geriatric)
• Achieve age-specific needs and cultural considerations in patient care
• Assess patient data and interpret necessary information for patient care
• Implement care based on outpatient and occupational therapy policies and procedures
• Supervise Certified Assistant Occupational Therapists (COTAs) and support personnel

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school preferred
• One to two years of Occupational Therapy experience preferred
• Certification in Thermal and Electrical Agents preferred
• Current licensure as a registered OT in Pennsylvania
• Criminal background check and Child Abuse Central Register clearance required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid PA driver's license for travel
• CPR certification required and must be maintained
