Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patients' functional status, activities of daily living, and occupational therapy needs according to medical conditions and plan of care.
- Provide therapy within the scope of practice, using evidence-based techniques, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Monitor, record, and report patient responses and condition changes to supervisors and physicians.
- Conduct functional ability assessments and develop therapy plans in consultation with physicians.
- Perform effectively in diverse home settings, respecting patient diversity.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in the practicing state.
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, or access to reliable transportation.
- Preferred: CPR certification.
- Preferred skills: multitasking, independent working, strong communication, organization, and writing skills.
Pay
Compensation includes per visit point pay and hourly rates, with full-time earnings ranging from $84,442 to $126,664 annually.
