Occupational Therapist Assistant - Bonus Available

Primary Responsibilities

- Responsible for following all state specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care, to follow the treatment set only as defined by the supervising OT - Following the plan of care, instructs and aids patients in evidence-based treatment within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant and according to the state laws governing occupational therapy assistants - Observes, records, and reports to the nurse supervisor and the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition - Instructs patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the health care team in the areas of therapy within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant

Required Qualifications

- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice - Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation - Must be certified and in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy

Preferred Qualifications

- Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire - Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Demonstrate ability to work independently - Good communication, writing, and organizational skills

Pay Range

Annual Total Cash Target Pay $53,528 - $80,292 Hourly Pay Range $25.73 - $38.60 Per Visit Point Pay Range $30.88 - $46.32
