Occupational Therapist: Bentonville, Arkansas

About the role

Cynergy Rehab Group is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with students, educators, and families to help children develop the skills needed to access their educational environment and achieve greater independence throughout their school day.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students with a variety of developmental, neurological, orthopedic, sensory, and physical challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support students' educational goals.
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services within the school environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student participation and success.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, evaluations, and IEP development.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and classroom strategies to improve student access and independence.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements.
• Support students in developing fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-help, and functional school participation skills.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Arkansas Occupational Therapy license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for working with children and helping students succeed in the educational environment.
• School-based experience preferred but not required.
