Occupational Therapist

Position Summary

Responsible for providing occupational therapy evaluation and treatment to patients in their homes or alternate community settings.

Principal Responsibilities

• Support organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers.
• Assess and evaluate clients for occupational therapy needs and develops and implements appropriate plan of action in collaboration with the physician.
• Document all changes in client’s condition and updates care plans and outcomes accordingly.
• Identify patient, caregiver, and family counseling and education needs and plans appropriate teaching strategies.
• Monitor quality and appropriateness of services provided.
• Participate in VNAHG’s QAPI and in-service programs.
• Adhere to agency infection control and safety policies.
• Adhere to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance.

Job Competencies & Minimum Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy Licensure in NJ
• 2-3 years of prior clinical experience and community based experience preferred
• Strong computer skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid NJ drivers license

Pay

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the compensation range for this position is USD $84,000 to USD $112,000.
