Requirements
Job Description and Responsibilities: This is a full-time or part-time on-site role as an Occupational Therapist (OT) serving a school located in Kenai Peninsula, AK. The Occupational Therapist (OT) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents).
Job Details: Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Part-time and full-time opportunities available
2026-2027 school year (August through May/June)
School-based assignment serving students across Kindergarten through 12th grade
Responsibilities include providing direct therapy, conducting evaluations, collaborating with school teams through consultation, and managing assigned caseloads
Guaranteed paid hours that include treatment, documentation, planning, meetings, and other administrative responsibilities
Full-time, on-site, in-person position
Reasonable caseloads that support high-quality student services
Competitive pay of $60-$75+ per hour, with estimated weekly earnings of $2250-$2812 +, depending on scheduled hoursQualifications: BS, Master's, OTD, or PhD in Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited university
State License as Occupational Therapist
NBCOT License
Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
Experience working with children
Strong foundation in Sensory Integration and ability to identify and analyze areas of developmental and sensory-motor dysfunction
Organizational and time management skills
Proficient in use of technology
Fingerprint background clearance
Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communicationsPhysical Requirements: Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
