Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, organize, and administer occupational therapy services according to current standards and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and records management.
• Collaborate with occupational/physical therapist assistants to provide training and guidance.
• Prepare and document treatment programs based on patient evaluations.
• Administer manual exercises and instruct patients in various physical activities.
• Fit and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices as needed.
• Coordinate treatment with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current, unrestricted license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the assigned state.

Qualifications

Experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required. A commitment to excellence and a collaborative approach are essential.
