Occupational Therapist

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting assessments and developing treatment programs to enhance strength, range of motion, and coordination.
• Providing therapeutic exercises and activities tailored to individual needs.
• Training patients in adaptive techniques, use of assistive devices, and self-care skills.
• Participating in environmental modifications, equipment design, and fabrication of splints and adaptive tools.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation of treatment progress.
• Offering consultations on environmental design and adaptive equipment to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy.
• Valid Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and adaptive equipment tools.
• Strong leadership, customer service skills, and ability to train patients in upper-extremity prosthetic use.
• PREFERRED: Experience in neurological therapy and patient assessments.
