About the role
We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our growing team of clinicians. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of care to children with special needs, focusing on compassion, excellence, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy services to children with developmental disabilities or delays, including but not limited to fine motor delays, sensory disorders, gross motor delays, speech-language delays, hearing disorders, feeding disorders, developmental delays, cognitive delays, and medical needs.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each child.
- Assess and evaluate children's developmental progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with families to ensure that home and community environments support the child's development and therapy goals.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy.
Requirements
- Current Arkansas license as an Occupational Therapist.
- One year of successful experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
Qualifications
- Education/Certification: Current Arkansas license as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience/Knowledge: One year of successful experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills/Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people, work with children between the ages of birth to 6 who are at risk, strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy, basic computer skills, ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment, ability to read and interpret documents, ability to write routine reports, ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions, ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standard situations.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
